On September 6, 2026 Dreams to Degrees celebrated the first three college graduates!
On a rainy monsoon day in Kashi, 150 children, parents, and Dreams to Degrees students gathered to celebrate:

(unable to attend because she is recovering from typhoid. There will be a separate ceremony for her and her parents when she is well.)
Deveshwar Das shared the blessings of Her Holiness Jagadguru Sai Maa, the first female Jagadguru in the 2,700-year Vishnu Swami tradition. He explained that as a trailblazer herself, Maa is a powerful role model for these young women to step into a rich and full life.
One by one, each graduate and her mother were called to the stage, garlanded, and applauded. For the parents, this was especially moving. They had never been publicly recognized for anything, let alone honored for supporting their daughters. They said very little, but as Father Maju shared, “I could see such pride in their eyes.”
Imagine the impact on the 150 people watching this ceremony. Young women see a path to a career, parents see what can happen when they support their daughters, and children begin to imagine college as part of their own future.
