During Sai Maa’s birthday (August 2nd), we celebrated the physical birth of Sai Maa, the birth of our relationship with Sai Maa, and the birth of our spiritual awakening.
On that day, Sai Maa was deeply engaged in planetary work and made a tremendous outpouring of energy and rapid spiritual transformation available to us.
There were many beautiful opportunities to celebrate Sai Maa’s birthday as a community. When we gathered in devotion, our collective love amplified the energy and blessings available for ourselves, and for the world.
As reported by Galaxy News, the celebrations extended well beyond MAA’s own community. The Jammu-based daily covered birthday observances held simultaneously at ashrams and gurukuls across India, including gatherings in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Delhi under the guidance of International Yoga Guru Swami Santoshanand Maharaj. According to the report, prasad was distributed to thousands of devotees, with dakshina and additional offerings shared among saints, mahants, and Mahamandaleshwars in attendance. The piece also quoted a senior Mahant describing Sai Maa’s presence as one that draws devotees seeking comfort and resolution in their lives, and noted that her reputation now extends well beyond India to audiences abroad.

The five-day gathering in Albany, July 29 to August 2, held the full arc of both celebrations – teachings, initiation, and community – culminating in Darshan on the day of Sai Maa’s Birthday.

Yagyas for Enlightenment & Ascension Consciousness
On August 1st and August 2nd, two 2-hour birthday yagyas for Sai Maa were performed. The first with 11 pundits, and the second with 21 pundits.
