Sai Maa was the first female Jagadguru to create and preside over the largest fire ceremony of its kind that took place in 2016 at the base of Mount Fuji in Japan. The ceremony lasted three full days with over 130 pundits (priests) from India, and 27 kundas (fire pits). The power of this Yagya has served humanity and the planet herself.

During the 2025 Maha Kumbh Mela, Sai Maa fed over 2,000 meals each day to hungry pilgrims, offered blankets and mattresses to pilgrims, and cared for the sadhus with food, blankets and money.
Wherever Sai Maa witnesses inequality or mistreatment, she acts immediately.
Over 20 years ago, in the remote Himalayan village of Betlar, home to Sai Maa’s first ashram, it was common practice for women to be sent to the stables to live with the cows during the entire time they were menstruating each month. Seeing the indignity in this practice, Sai Maa instructed the village men to build huts for the women to live comfortably during this time.
In addition to the title of Jagadguru, Sai Maa has been given many additional distinguished names and honorary titles in recognition of her contributions and impact across different cultures and spiritual traditions.
