During the time of Wesak (Buddha Purnima), the first full moon of May, Her Holiness Jagadguru Sai Maa invites you into a seven-day immersion in the Enlightenment of Consciousness awakening the higher potential of both spirit and matter.

With the spiritually-rich energies of Buddha Purnima, this sacred tour offers a rare opportunity to propel your path forward, to meditate on the land of the Buddha’s enlightenment, and to embody the light.

This pilgrimage unites the Vedic and Buddhist lineages, opening a multidimensional field for all who seek liberation, enlightenment, and peace for humanity.

What are the travel details?

Arrival: Wednesday, April 29, 2026
Participants should arrive at Gaya Airport (GAY) by mid-afternoon. Daily flights from Delhi typically land around 4:30pm. Group transportation from the airport to the hotel will be provided.

Departure: Tuesday, May 5, 2026
Please plan flights departing from Gaya Airport (GAY) around 12:30pm.

What are the accommodation options?

Lodging is included in the tour package with all accommodations arranged at the Hyatt Bodh Gaya, a luxurious environment selected for its peaceful atmosphere and close proximity to the sacred sites. Couples are welcome to stay together and are asked to make the appropriate request during the booking process.

Are meals included?

Yes. All meals are included and carefully prepared to support deep meditation, purification, and vitality.  Sattvic vegetarian cuisine will be served at the Hyatt Bodh Gaya, with possible excursions to other dining locations as well, all designed to nourish both body and spirit.

Who can attend this program?

This sacred tour is open to all who feel an inner call to awaken through the light of Bodh Gaya. Participants are encouraged to:

  • Have previously attended an online or in person program with MAA
  • Maintain a regular sadhana (spiritual practice)
  • Start or maintain a vegetarian diet in the week leading up to the program 

Hold an active MAA Membership in 2026 (any level is welcome)

What is included in the program fee?

The full retreat includes:

  • Participation in all programs, meditations, and teachings
  • Accommodation and meals for the duration of the stay
  • Group transportation between Bodh Gaya Airport and the Hyatt Bodh Gaya
  • Access to sacred sites and cultural visits arranged by the MAA team
  • Transportation during the tour in Bodh Gaya
Is airfare included?

Participants are responsible for arranging and purchasing their own international and domestic flights to and from Gaya (GAY).
